We know you're busy buying gifts and getting ready for the holidays - just a quick reminder that Muni fare changes are going into effect in only three weeks!
Single-ride adult Limited Use tickets paid with a Clipper® Card or the MuniMobile app (via a ticket vending machine or farebox) cost 25 cents less than fares paid with cash.
Monthly pass fares for the Adult "A" Pass and Discount Pass will also increase. You can purchase a pass as early as December 17 for next month with the new rate in effect.
Other highlights from this round of fare changes include the extension of the youth fare discount to everyone 18 or younger (previously set at 17 years old) and some monthly pass fare increases.
Fare change details below:
All fare changes can be found on our Fares and Passes webpage. To get your Clipper Card, visit any Walgreens or go to the Clipper Card Center at the Embarcadero Muni Metro/BART station. An easy way to pay for Muni one trip at a time is on ourMuniMobile payment app.
