Subject: Applications to International Program In Public Health Leadership - Please share with your network
Dear colleagues,
Do you know any promising mid-career managers working in the SA government health system?
Applications for the second cohort of the International Program in Public Health Leadership (IPPHL) is open from now till December 22nd 2017.
The program is a Gates partnership with the University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy and the Center for Creative Leadership, designed to give emerging African leaders the management, problem-solving, and communication skills they need to effectively lead the programs they implement.
We are reaching out to you to pass along information on this opportunity to colleagues in your network that may be interested in the program. Attached is the new official program brochure and here is a link to the program website, where the application is now live. The 2017 cohort of the leadership program will run from April 16 to September 14 and includes an eight-week distance learning component, a two-week residency in Seattle, and a final in-person seminar during the week of September 10th. We are looking to admit 14-16 candidates.
The first cohort of 17 Fellows from six countries in Africa successfully completed the program this last September.
