I STRUGGLED FOR THE SOLUTION UNTIL I DIED WITH IT, AT LEAST IF I WORKED:

1.- Update all obsolete drivers and drivers on my computer with the drive boost program

2.- create a new windows user account and make it administrator, and

3.- from this account access to the Tencent download

3.- disable firewall and antivirus

4.- Download TGB from the official website
