Tried by restarting both the emulator and the computer on several occasion but is still showing the same.

Solved::
Uninstall the emulator and delete all files related to emulator which has been downloaded.
Restart the computer again download the emulator and install.
NB: If you just uninstall the emulator and don't delete the files previously downloaded ,the process will not work

bro just follow these steps 

1.uninstall the game

2.delete the files which are stored in c drive in program files if it shows the files are in use then just right click and do add to archieve and then delete the archieve

3.install the emulater again

I Got The Same Problem And I Have Tried To Use Other Method Than Reinstalling The Damn Emulator Since It Will Take Much Time...
What I Have Tried To Do Is To Open The Emulator Using The Multi-Window's Option
-  Start The Emulator From TxGameAssistant\UI\AndroidEmulator.exe & Once The Emulator Is Started You Will Get The Same Error

- Then You HaveTo Use "Multi-Window" Option From The Right Side Tool Bar

- You Will See That The Emulator Will Be Successfully Opened

-  And You Will See All The Installed Apps On Your Emulator

- Now Try To Launch PUBG Mobile And It Will Just Ask You About Switching To The DirectX Engine Mode (Which Enhance Your Graphics) Just Press Ok And Also If You Get Any Other Error Just Ignore It And Start The Game

- And Everything Will Be Done

That Method Helped Me 100% To Bypass That "Failed To Start" Error

I've hanging on it few day. i'm using windows 10 64bit. And now I was find cause of this f*cking stupid error. You will need go to Setting => Engine and change Render from anything to DirectX or DirectX+ and done. You need to try restart PC few time to PUBG work again with Windows 10, Windows 7 just restart 1 time will work.

I figured out what the problem is. This mainly happens when you have mic or speaker issues in a game and after that you can't go to main screen. To counter that we need to exit the game. But if you do that by using the top right close icon(x), the error occurs when you start the game again.

The solution is when you can't go to your game main screen after being killed or winning the game, just use the emulator 'exit' button (bottom icon on the emulator icon panel on right) to exit the game.

After that when you start the game again, this problem no longer exists. It is better than restarting your pc every time this happens.

However this problem occurred since update 0.9 and wasn't there in previous updates.

i have a simple solution for that probleme it happen to me too and manytimes so i didnt want to restard my computer everytime specialy if you already in a game 

so all you have to do you star the emulator and you start your game if the probleme happend again you close that message without closing all the window you leave it like that and you click on multi windows on the right like you want to open 2 games in the same time so the second window will start normaly when the game start normaly you close the other window where the probleme persiste and you can injoy the game without unistaling and installing the game again and again and restart the pc ... i hope i could help you and sorry for my bad english have a good time ^^

The only way to fix this issue is to reinstall your tencent gaming buddy and re install it. it will definitely solve your problem. i have faced this issue multiple time. so yeah you have to reinstall the emulator. thx

So heres a real complete solution , I finally came up with !

I tried like reinstalling TGB many times but after sometime this restart error pop ups after 49% loading everytime!

I tried almost everything prescribed over YouTube & Forum except what Rodrigue  Faria Said using processhacker method( since I never wished to corrupt any program) I never went for it! So, all you need to do is check very first the Processor Time Up in taskbar under performance tab! If you find it exceeding 1 day or so then you're near to what you came for here!

0.5. Reinstallation is a temporary solution!

1. (Standard Solution) Use Multi Window (simple)

2.For this you need to make sure that restarting PC solves the error issue temporarily. If it is so, then its time to learn something new! Yup! You know what that by default in Windows 8 & 10 the FAST STARTUP feature is active! That is when you shutdown your pc, it actually goes to hibernation like mode and the system quickly boots up when we hit the power button! So, heres the hidden key! That's why shutting down & starting the pc again isn't as effective as restarting the pc option in all cases & apparently later takes more time too, guess why??(Mentioned above~You may search for the Difference b/w Full Shutdown vs Normal Shutdown in Windows 8 &10)! All you need to do is to Full Shutdown by clicking Shutdown button everytime while holding SHIFT Key! Or else Disable this FAST STARTUP feature in What Power Buttons Do Power & Sleep Settings in Control Panel. Its done you wont ever see that message again, and Your Processor will even take rest like you! 

 See that such kind of error is shown in low end pcs , most likely in i3 Processor Pcs, very lessly in i5 & above! Its all about the efficiency of your PC to handle!

NOTE: Before going for 2nd Step , Simply go into C:\Users\"User name"\AppData\roaming , And delete a " Tencent " Folder and also remove all the files from TEMP folder except that are already running in the Back Ground!

Clean Your Emulator Cache Once! (Remember that this will remove your downloaded game map & in game update )

 If none of them helps , You need to either go for Processhacker Method Given by Rodrigue Faria below or else install the emulator again after uninstalling it with Revo , Ashampoo or any other popular in depth unistaller (which will remove program registries also & manually remove all files shown in results of search of tencent keyword in C drive !)

I am quite lazy so i did not want to post this solution XD but here. You don't need to do many things. Just do this:
1) open TGB settings
2) tick mark on: run at startup
3) restart your pc
