There are only minor revisions to make. In particular, we have to
revive the table with the examples of good and bad posts.
The old table is available at the following address:
who is available to work on this table in the following days?
I have uploaded the manuscript on google/docs, so if you have
suggestions on how to answer the second request, you can write there
directly:

Subject: Decision on your article submitted to PLoS Comp Biol
(PCOMPBIOL-D-11-00820)
To: Giovanni Marco Dall'Olio <dallo...@gmail.com>
Dear Dr. Dall'Olio,
Thank you very much for submitting your manuscript, 'Ten Simple Rules
for Getting Help from Online Scientific Communities', to PLoS
Computational Biology. I thought it a valuable addition to the Ten
Rules series and wish to publish it with the following minor
revisions:
- It would be useful to have an additional supplement with an
annotated example of a good and bad post.
- Rule 7 and 8 implicitly relate to being professional - you might
want to state that explicitly. There will also be a Ten Rules
published this month that relates to developing and maintaining a
scientific reputation - professional postings have a role in that. If
out before you submit your final copy you might consider referring to
it if that makes sense.
- Give it one more careful read - there are some typos.
Before you resubmit your manuscript, please consult our Submission
Checklist to ensure your manuscript is formatted correctly for PLoS
Computational Biology:
http://www.ploscompbiol.org/static/checklist.action. Some key points
to remember are:
- Figures uploaded separately as TIFF or EPS files. Figure legends at
the end of the manuscript file, after the References.
- Supporting Information uploaded as separate files, titled Dataset,
Figure, Table, Text, Protocol, Audio, or Video.
- Funding information in the 'Financial Disclosure' box in the online system.
We hope to receive your revised manuscript within the next 30 days. If
you anticipate any delay in its return, we ask that you let us know
the expected resubmission date by email at plosco...@plos.org.
Please use the link below to see if there are any accompanying
attachments. You may use this link log into the system when you are
ready to submit a revised version:
If you have any questions or concerns while you make these revisions,
please let us know.
Sincerely,
Philip E. Bourne, Ph.D.

Congrats to all, especially to Giovanni who led this project very well.

Hopefully you saved it!
I won't be available before the end of next week. But beginning of
July is OK for be.
As suggested, it could be also a good idea to make a reference to the article
related to "developing and maintaining a scientific reputation" that
will be out soon.
Cheers

Hello everybody!
I think that 8 or 10 examples will be enough. But we can collect more
and then choose the best ones, as we did for the rules.
Cheers,
Gio

Hello Jacopo,
the deadline to resubmit the manuscript is July 22. We can give plan
to finish everything for July 10, and then spend a week more to
re-read.

For example,
"""
<No subject>
Hi,
can anyone tell me how to run a NVT simulation in gromacs.
"""
can become
"""
<No subject>
Hi,
can anyone tell me how to specify the MK model in mrbayes.

Indeed. In respect to people who asked a "bad" question, we have to
remove the original link
and create our own bad examples. Let's be creative!
