We have been asked to make the introduction shorter. I can do this by myself, just let me know if you any suggestion or idea.

Dear all,
it took its time to get an answer out of Phil Bourne, but I am happy
to say that it was worth the wait :-)
Below is the email that I have just received from him.
Cheers,
Lars
--------------------
Dear Lars:
I apologize for the long delay in responding. I have now read both
articles, and since I am a firm believer in supporting the wisdom of
crowds approach so in principle I would like to proceed on both.
BioStar would need to be formulated as a Perspective according to the
guide to authors. The Ten Rules could do with a shortening of the
introduction. This is not a commitment to publish, but to at least get
the two manuscripts into the system and reviewed.
If you would like to proceed go ahead and submit. I will try and move
things along as fast as I can after this long delay.
Sincerely,
Phil
