Listen to School Colors, a podcast by Brooklyn Deep about how race, class and power shape American cities and schools.
Family.I wanted to make sure that you were all aware of the scholarship fund that New York Law School set up in Ebony’s name. As you know, Ebony Griffith, Lisa’s youngest, passed away late last year and was honored posthumously by the law school that she graduated from and where she was a leader among her peers. Here is the link to the fund: https://alumni.nyls.edu/sslpage.aspx?pid=920If you scroll through the “designation” tab, you will see the "Ebony Griffith ’15 BLSA Inspiration Fund.” Please help make sure Ebony’s legacy lives on.
In the meantime, I’m hoping that everyone is doing as well as can be during these times. My heart and thoughts go out to Paulie and Norma right now. It’s tough enough to lose a loved one so tragically, but to do so in this moment of social crisis and social distancing is particularly hard. The Griffith’s and Joa-Griffiths are doing fine. Sharon, Kevin and I have quarantined ourselves away from our father, but he is doing ok, all things considered.Stay safe.Love,Mark
