Hi Leon,

Thanks for creating this group. Given recent interest of a larger
group of people working on Temporal Information Processing, this is a
very good initiative.

I think we should also create a platform where anyone new can find the
related papers (and freely available tools), from classical to state-
of-the art papers. This would help to interest more people in this
field; will also help us to check some missed papers too. Does anyone
know of any tool (preferably web tool) to maintain papers, i.e. tag
them and categorize them? We can probably create a google doc, to get
started, if we can't find any other better options..

Thanks.

Hi Naushad,

I use http://notify.me to keep an eye on the results of a Google
Scholar search for recent papers using selected keywords - it seems to
perform well enough.

Hi everybody,

I agree this is a good initiative.

An interesting tool to keep references online is Aigaion. PHP+MySQL
implementation...
I found it more useful/maintainable than other more-elaborated ones
like eprints. But may be google doc is ok (and easier) to get started.

Keep in touch,
Hector

Hi Leon,

Thanks for notify.me, looks like a useful thing. But my email was about creating a list of papers and available temporal related tools for newcomers, so that they can jump-start. I will start with some stuff and then invite others to participate, or if anyone else is interested, they can go ahead and create one..

Thanks.

Hi All,

I started the list with few papers and not any resources yet. Please feel free to add more information, it will be published with due credits from contributors.

Here is the document:

I would need to invite the collaborators. Send me an email if you want to contribute. I will add you.

Thanks.

Hi All,

I have updated the list with representative papers, available tools and resources. Feel free to give your suggestions for additions. Using basic google doc for now.

Hi,

We could use the http://www.TimexPortal.info which I set up some time
ago.
It is Wiki-based, and as such easy to extend for everyone.
And it has already many members.

Re literature: I use CiteULike, to which I link from http://www.timexportal.info/literature
.
My idea is that we could link to other, topic-specific bibliographies.

I think this email group would be a great co-existing resource
together with TimexPortal:
while we can use the group for discussions, ongoing research and
matters, the wiki would be more for archiving and collecting resources
(papers, tools, specifications, results etc) and provide overview of
the field, its specific areas and current state-of-the-art. The
TimexPortal also has a forum http://www.timexportal.info/forum:start
which can be used for long term announcements.

If you want become a member of TimexPortal, go to http://www.timexportal.info/system:join

regards,
Pawel
