Engagement Description: The
COMS 5.0 project is an important, high-visibility, multi-year project for the
DOC. A new data model and a major new module are being developed. The primary
focus of this position is to update the large volume of existing COMS modules,
reports, and data exchanges to the new data model.
Additional Skill
Requirements: Must have the desire and aptitude for modifying a
large volume of existing code. Strong technical skills in VB 6.0 Windows Forms,
ASP Classic, ASP.NET, .NET 2.0 (or greater), TSQL and SQL Server 2000 (or
greater). Need excellent verbal and written communication skills, discipline,
excellent team collaboration skills, and is proactive and responsive to
changing business needs. Additional technical skills desired include VB.NET ,
.NET 3.5, SQL Server 2008, application integration experience with Active
Directory, SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, Active Reports, and
Team Foundation Server.
