WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR AUG 19 SHABBAT Services begin at 8pm tomorrow, August 19th, and will be led by Rabbi and Lindy. Shabarbeque is back!  Come casually dressed, bring your own main dish for the barbecue and bring a side dish or dessert to share.  Drinks will be provided.  We’ll start with a short Shabbat service and then we’ll cook and eat together.  Be sure to join us at 6pm next Friday, August 26th. COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS WOTI’s (Women of Temple Israel’s) annual meeting is on Thursday, August 25 at 7pm at the home of Lindy Passer.  ALL Temple Israel women are welcome and encouraged to attend.  THIS IS OUR ONLY MEETING FOR THE WHOLE YEAR - PLEASE TRY TO COME. HIGH HOLYDAYS High Holyday choir rehearsals have begun, but it’s not too late to join!  If you would like to participate in this year’s High Holyday services, please consider joining our adult choir, Kolot.  If you have 2nd-12th graders, please think about having them join our High Holyday Youth Choir and, 4th graders on up are encouraged to learn how to blow the shofar by joining our Shofar Choir.  Your last to join is this Wednesday, August 24th.  Please check our online calendar or this month’s Kol Yisrael for a complete rehearsal schedule. Be sure you’re included in this year’s congregational New Year’s card and that your loved ones are included in our Yizkor Memorial Book.  Submissions were included in the August Kol Yisrael and must be received by Friday, September 2nd. SPIRITUAL HEALTH Register for Adult Education Classes now.  Course offerings are listed in the August Kol Yisrael and on our website. PHYSICAL HEALTH Looking for a great way to get some exercise and have some fun?  Join us for Israeli Dancing from 6p-7p on Wednesdays. It’s a great aerobic workout!
