Cinderella (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack album to the 2015 live-action adaptation of Walt Disney's 1950 animated film based on the folk tale. The film is directed by Kenneth Branagh and features a musical score composed by Patrick Doyle, Branagh's frequent collaborator. The soundtrack was released by Walt Disney Records on March 10, 2015 and debuted at No. 60 on the Billboard 200, selling 8,000 copies in its first week.
The soundtrack consists of 33 tracks, including orchestral melodies, waltzes, polkas, choral notes, and three songs adapted from the original film: "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" and "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" (sung by Lily James and Helena Bonham Carter, respectively), and an original song "Strong" written by Doyle, Branagh and Tommy Danvers and recorded by Sonna Rele of MoTown. The score was recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by James Shearman at the Air Lyndhurst Studios in London.

The score offers various moods for the characters and sequences. For Cinderella and Prince's main theme "La Valse de LAmour", Doyle had written four additional waltzes and three polkas for the ball, lending a 19th-century musical flavour that complements the setting, design and costumes according to that time period. One of Cinderella's key themes, where Ella's mother sings early in the film, is derived from a 17th-century tune lending on English folk music. He added choral notes for few key sequences, such as the transformation of Cinderellas dress, her isolation in the attic, and for the wicked stepmother. From the 2006 film adaptation of the Shakespearean play As You Like It, Doyle's composition of the Shakespearean sonnet "It Was A Lover And His Lass" was set to the film, which was sung by Sophie McShera, who played Drisella.
The soundtrack received positive reviews from critics and fans. It was praised for its emotional depth, classical elegance, and romantic charm. It was also nominated for several awards, including the World Soundtrack Award for Best Original Song Written Directly for a Film ("Strong"), the Hollywood Music in Media Award for Best Original Score - Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Horror Film, and the International Film Music Critics Association Award for Best Original Score for a Fantasy/Science Fiction/Horror Film.
The soundtrack is available in various formats, including digital download, CD, and vinyl. The M4A format is a type of audio file that uses lossy compression to reduce the file size while preserving the sound quality. The bitrate of 320kbps indicates the number of bits per second that are used to encode the audio data. The higher the bitrate, the better the sound quality, but also the larger the file size. The number 15 at the end of the title refers to the number of tracks that are included in this particular version of the soundtrack.
