In the early times, a man named Polyakov discovered the plant notes of Pangloss and began farming them. After Pangloss took notice of this he rewarded Polyakov by teaching him how to use the Flame of Wonder present between the world and the living beings. Polyakov used his new ability to create machines and miracles of wonder which earned him the title of Wonder-Maker.
The Dr. Wondertainment company was founded by Timothy Griffin. Timothy had been a child prodigy who had a talent and desire to create anomalous toys, but later on he had abandoned this dream and began working as an old bureaucrat. However, Nobody took notice of Timothy's brilliant inventions and by secretly sending him letters of encouragement Timothy and his coworkers banded together to create anomalous toys for the children around the world.
In this new reality, the company of Doctor Wondertainment instead of being created by Cornelius it was founded in 1909 by Chester Williams, an African-American, non-anomalous man from Boston, and was later joined by magician Maria Herring who helped in creating magical products. Williams was the original holder of the Dr. Wondertainment mantle and the face of the company while Herring mostly helped behind the scenes. The company was first started in a back alley since that was all that Williams could afford, but thanks to its success Dr. Wondertainment began to grow but they were then warned that magical stuff wouldn't last as they got bigger so they should instead stay low from public view. Because of this, the duo bought from an extradimensional estate agent some interdimensional space in the back of the shop and as time went on the space grew and became known as Wonder World where the employees hired would help create many wonderful products.
The company of Doctor Wondertainment was founded by African-American toymaker John Schuster in 1845 in Chicago after he left his job at The Factory. He became determined to spread the joy of Wonder and Entertainment throughout the world, and so he became the original Dr. Wondertainment, creating the platonic thought form that would become known as Dr. Wondertainment. Schuster was succeeded by Dr. Mortimer Carlyle from Marshall Carlyle and Darke after he was moved by the spirit of Wondertainment into spreading joy and turned the Dr. Wondertainment brand into a proper company, but it also became more capitalistic in nature, in order to establish more market dominance.
One day, for unknown reasons, every single anomaly which ever existed was either neutralized or normalized, much to the shock of all of the GoIs. This also included all of Wondertainment's products which stopped working after their paranormal properties were gone. However, the company still kept on as they eventually began releasing other normal toys, but because the anomalous world had ended, the new toys failed to impress the same the way as the previous ones did.
As the entire world was slowly being destroyed, Dr. Wondertainment kept producing entertaining products for everyone. The company tried its best to lessen the pain that was being brought on everyone, giving them numerous gifts in order to give them some happiness before meeting the end of everything. As the entire multiverse was destroyed, the company and its director passed away peacefully as they remembered the temporary smiles they brought to those who were suffering.
During the destruction of the world brought by SCP-3916, a species of locusts that can rapidly reproduce asexually and devour any matter in their path, Wonder World attempted to take in as many refugees as possible. Unfortunately, SCP-3916 were eventually able to access the pocket dimension by attaching themselves to a man who just arrived and immediately began consuming all of Wonder World.
