Dear Sir,

I just checked that web site. It is pretty good. But seems there is a bug in the search box.

Initially I hit k, the it appeared like this.

I hit backspace and then hit k again. Then it came as below.

Again I hit backspace and then hit k, It came as below

4th time for the same process it came like this.

I think the problem is backspace is not properly clearing the search box buffer.

The only way to get rid of this problem is refresh the page.

Because of this, I am able to search only one word at a time. If I want to search for another word, I need to refresh the page.

For Telugu words, I first used 'lekhini' and pasted the word; so far it worked. English words, I typed directly. The responses in racchabanda also indicate that it is working well. Please check the thread

అప్పుడప్పుడూ రెండు సార్లు నొక్కవలసి వచ్చింది కానీ నాకు backspace పని చేస్తోంది. (నా విహారిణి Internet Explorer 8, నా గణిని నిర్వాహకవ్యవస్థ Windows Vista Ultimate.)

I observed this problem on Apple Safari 4.0.5 and on Google Chrome 4.1.249.

But this is working fine in IE 8.0. As nachaki already mentioned, we need to press backspace key two times to delete the first character, and from second character onwards, I am able to delete with single press of backspace key.

I am using Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit edition

It is nice to see your approval. Let us also thank P.P.C. Joshi of
Prachee Publications who agreed for the digitization of Adhunika
Vyaharakosam even though it is fairly recent.
I do not know much about the first dictionary sed but I think that
budaraju's is a hurried effort mainly meant for eenadu journalist at a
certain moment. Brown again is old and mainly supposed be for
colloquial language. It would be good to digitize more authortitative
dictionaries. Teluguthesis has many dictionaries and Andhra University
published one Telugu vyutpapti kosan which is supposed to be very
good. I hope more of these will be added in the andhrabharati efforts.
I understand that Vemuri's dictionary will be added soon.
