  ముత్తాత/ముత్త మామ్మ అను పదములు ఇందుండే వచ్చినవి అనుకుంటా

మనకి ఇప్పటికే తేట తెలుగులొ పెద్ద, చిన్న పదాలు వాడుకలో ఉండగా ఇంకా కొత్త పదాలు ఎందుకు?

ఇవి పెద్ద చిన్న అను రెండు పదాలకు బదులుగా కాదు.

తెలుగు లో సీనియర్ ని ఏమి అనాలి అన్నదానికి ముత్త అను  తెలుగు పదము ఉందనే ఉంది కదా అని చెప్పాను.

ముత్త అనే పదం అవ్వ, తాతలకు పూర్వీకులను సూచించటానికే వాడుతున్నారు. ఇతరత్రా ప్రయోగాలకు నాదాగ్గర దాఖలాలు లేవు.

ఇక పొతే ముత్తజీయర్, ముత్తనాన్న అనలేదే. కాబట్టి ఇక్కడ జరుగుతున్న సీనియర్-జూనియర్ పదాల సమాన అర్ధాలు కానేరవు. పైగా ఇంతకు ముందు నేను చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యానం తాడేపల్లిగారు సూచించిన పదాలను ఉద్ద్యేశించి చేసినది. వాడుక భాషకు, గ్రాంధిక (నిఘంటు) భాషకు మధ్య వివాదం నేటిది కాదు. నిఘంటువులో వాడుకలోని కొత్త పదాలను చేర్చాలేకానీ నిఘంటువులో ఉన్న వాడుకలో లేని పదాలను వాడమనటం వలన ఉపయోగం ఉండదు.

ఉదాహరణకు అంగ్ల నిఘంటువులో కర్రీ అనే పదాన్ని చేర్చారే కాని అప్పటికే నిఘంటువులో ఉన్న గ్రేవీ అనె పదాన్నే వాడమని పట్టుపట్టలేదు.
