అందరికీ దండాలు.

శ్రీ పారుపల్లి కోదండరామయ్య గారి సహకారంతో , అమ్మనుడి నుండి పోగు చేసిన కొన్ని మాటలు ఇక్కడ పెట్టాను.  ఈ కింద / పైన  ఇచ్చిన లంకెను నొక్కితే ఆ మాటలు చూడవచ్చు. ఇంకా కలుపవచ్చు.

చాలా కొద్దిగా మాత్రమె ఉన్నాయి ఇక్కడ. 

మాటల మూటలు పోగు చేద్దామన్న ఆశ ఈ ప్రయత్నం. ఇది ఏ ఒకరిద్దరితోనో అయ్యే పని కాదు. దయచేసి ఎ కొంచెం సమయమున్నా, కనీసం ఒక్క మాటనయినా పెట్టె ప్రయత్నం చెయ్యండి.

దయచేసి దేనినీ delete తొలగించటం చెయ్యకండి. తప్పు అని మీకు అనిపిస్తే, మీ సూచన దాని పక్క వరుసలో (column) లో ఇవ్వండి. 

కుదిరితే మీరు రాసిన మాటకు ఆధారం కూడా ఇవ్వండి. (అమ్మనుడి అయితే అక్కర్లేదు. అది default అనుకుందాము... )

వాడుక తెలుగు, అచ్చ తెలుగు, english (అవసరం అనిపించినా చోట)

అమ్మనుడికి చందా కట్టేసి చదువుతూ ఉంటే చాలా మాటలు వస్తాయి.. (మరింకెందుకు ఆలశ్యం. కట్టెయ్యండి)

ఇంకెలా అయినా మారిస్తే బాగుంటుంది అనిపిస్తే, మరొక sheet మీద మీరు అనుకున్న విధం ఉదాహరణతో ఇవ్వండి.

ఇది ఆరంభం మాత్రమే. తెలుగు వారు ఆరంభ శూరులు అనే నానుడిని పటాపంచలు చేద్దాం.

మరల గుర్తు చేస్తున్నా..  మాటలు కావాలి. చుక్క చుక్క కూడితేనే ఏచెరువైనా నిండేది. నేడు అమ్మనుడినాడు కదా. అమ్మలాంటి మన నుడికోసం చిన్న. ప్రతిన చేసుకుందాం..

తెలుగు కోసం మీరు పడుతున్న పాటుకు మప్పిదాలు.

నేను ఆంగ్ల అక్షరాల్లో తెలుగు మాటలను కొడితే కంప్యుటర్ తెలుగు అక్షరాలుగ మార్చుకొంటుంది. అలా నేను మీరు ఇచ్చిన లంకె లోని ఎక్సెల్ షీట్ లో టైపు చేయటానికి కుదరటం లేదు. దాని కోసం ఏమైన ఏర్పాట్లు చేయండి.

అప్పటి వరకు ఈ క్రింది మాటలను లోవలలో ఉంచండి.

ప్రయత్నం: కిట్టుక, నూకతనం.

అయ్యా మన తెలుగు రాష్త్రల్లొ ఒక్కక్క పదం ఒక్కొక చొట ఒకొ విధముగ పలుకుతాము. ఉదాహరనకు 'అతికించు ' అనెది చాల చొట వాడు తాము. ఇదె పదం కర్నూలు పరిసరాలలొ ' కరిపించు ' అని వాడుతారు. భావం తెలుసుకుంటె చాలు. తలలు పగలు  కొట్టుకొవలసిన అవసరం లెదు.

తెలుగులో ఉన్నన్ని మాటలు మరే నుడి లోను లేవు. అలానే కొత్త మాటలను కూడా ఎన్నైన పుట్టించ వచ్చు.

కాకపోతే ఆ మాత్రం తెలుగు వారికి నెనరు ఉన్నదా లేదా అనేదే తేలాలి.

watering can కు మాటలు;

చిమ్ము బుగ్గ, చల్లు బుంగ, నీటి కడవ, చిలుకు బుగ్గ, ​నీటి పంటి.

ఇవి నాకు తెలిసినవే. ఊళ్లల్లోకి వెళ్ళితే, తెలుగు పండితులు నోరు విప్పితే ఇంకా ఎన్నో దొరుకుతాయి.

Dear all

We are not going in right direction. We are trying to confuse with unnecessary words. In my our interest should be to see that Telugu should be learned by more people and Telugu language should not extinct.

But what we are doing is that we are digging the mountain and try to catch the rat, by trying to find the ancient Telugu words, which are not available in dictionaries. Is it necessary at this time?

Our elders used to ware shorts, gocheelu and Panchalu, earlier. How many of us wearing them now? Let us be practical. The people who do not have much work to do try to confuse people.

Please stop this and find methods to make it easy to learn by our school going children from the primary stage.

If you bring these words more 95 per cent will stop learning Telugu in just one to two years. In case you do not know how to do this, please delete my name from the group.

In my view we lost the practicality and becoming theoreticians.

మన తరతరాల తేట  తెలుగు యొక్క విశిష్టత తెలుసుకొనుట  మరియు పలు పదాల అన్వేషణ ఖచ్చితముగా మన వాడుక బాష మనుగడకు అడ్డంకి కాదు. మీరు చెప్పిన గోచీలు పంచెలు వాడక పోవచ్చు కానీ వాటి గురించి తెలుసుకొనుట తప్పేమి కాదు. 

ఇక్కడ మీకు ఒక ఉదాహరణ ఇస్తాను గమనించండి. చాలా ప్రాంతాల్లో మన అమ్మగారి నాన్నను మరియు నాన్న గారి నాన్నని తాతయ్య అని పిలుస్తాము. అదే అమ్మ వాళ్ళ అమ్మను అమ్మమ్మ అని, నాన్న వాళ్ళ అమ్మని నాన్నమ్మ అని పిలుస్తాము. ఈ సందేహం ఒక చిన్న కుర్రవాడు నాన్ని అడిగాడు, అప్పుడు నేను కొంత  శోధన చేసిన తరువాత తెలిసింది మా రాయలసీమ ప్రాంతం లో నాన్న గారి నాన్నని జేజినాన్న అంటరాని.  అట్టి పదాలని  వాడుకలోకి తీసుకురావడానికి చేసే ప్రయత్నంకు మన తోడ్పాటు ఎల్లప్పుడూ ఉండాలి. నా వంతుగా మా కుటంబంలో చాలా పదాలని పిల్లలకి తెలుగులో నేర్పిస్తున్నాం. 

ఇది నా స్వంత అభిప్రాయం.

I concur with your opinion Madhusoodanarao gaaru.
Most of the parents seeking English language instead of Mother tongue.Their abistion is the betterment of their kith and kin. They are feeling that Telugu, the mother tongue can't feed their belly. It is reality.
They may not be knowing that learning English or any other language by mother tongue is easy .
So it is the responsibility of the Mother language lovers to be creative in devoloping ease to learn English through Telugu.

​గారావు గారు, మీరు చెప్పినదానికి ఒప్పుకుంటాను. తెలుగులో మాట్లాడదాము, మాట్లాడేవాళ్ళను అభినన్దిద్దాము. ఏమాత్రమ్ సన్దేహమ్ లేకుండా..

కాని పాత మాటలు వెలికి తీసే ప్రయత్నమ్ కూడదు అంటేనే వస్తున్ది ఇబ్బన్ది.

​, If we ignore our old words, we will be left with this type of Telugu. If this is the Telugu of the future, I would rather stick with my English... :)

I am not saying that this has to be done overnight.. but this has to be an on going effort. and when teaching, let's introduce the correct words, and if there are no correct words from our old or existing telugu, let's invent them with Telugu language tools. for example

మనకు తెలుగులో ఎన్నో చేర్పు పదాలు ఉన్నాయి.

 ఉదాహరణకు: ఎన.

రెండు వంతులను కలిపేది వంతెన  

దువ్వేది దువ్వెన

mixie అంటే నూరేది = నూరెన

Transformer మార్చేది = మార్పెన

wet grinder రుబ్బేది = రుబ్బెన.

ఇలా మనకున్న చేర్పు పదాలతో కొత్త మాటలను తయారు చేసుకోవచ్చు. ఒకసారి 'సూత్రం' పరిచయం అయిందంటే, అర్థం చాలా తేలిక కదా...

గిడుగు వారు చెప్తూ ఉంటారు. మనం పాత మాటలను పట్టించుకోకుండా వదిలేస్తే ఇంక మన పాత భాషకు మనకు సంబంధం ఏమి ఉంటుంది? ఇది దాదాపు మరో కొత్త భాష అయిపోతోంది కదా.

అందరినీ తెల్లారేపాటికి ఇలా మారిపొండి అనడం లేదు కదా.. నా చిన్న తనంలో వాడిన మాటలు కూడా కనుమరుగై పోతూ ఉంటే మనం పట్టించుకోకుండా ఎలా? అవకాశం ఉన్నచోట, లేనిచోట, అంగ్లం లేదా సంస్క్రుతం లోకి వెళ్ళిపోతూ ఉంటే బాగుందంటారా?

పెద్దలు ఆలోచించండి.

Dear Sastry Garu

I nave not talked about English. This group is so much obsessed with Telugu, if I have to use the words by any law or force, I prefer not to talk in Telugu. Thanks people like Gidugu, who popularised Telugu usage. Many new things are invented and we are using those things and technologies and gadgets and progressing. We are not doing any harm to the Telugu language. 

We have converted many English words into Telugu like Railu, post, Bus, car, cycle, phonu, shapu and so many words even uneducated people are using those words, as if they are Telugu words. What is the wrong in using them.

Please let me know, How many Telugu people know all the words in Telugu, which you are all posting it on net.

If this is line you want to follow, please leave simple and normal people like me, from your Telugu Mata Group. 

I do not want to get mad, by trying to learn these new Telugu words, which I have not learned in the last 65 years and I do not have any interest in learning them now.

There are many methods to children learn Telugu, that is what I wanted. I am more interested in all Telugu people should have basic knowledge of reading, writing and capability to read news papers and magazines and writing some thing, what they have learnt. I want to get my life complicated with new Telugu Words, which will not have any value. I am not a Telugu Basha  Praveen.

Pundits should no more to read old itihasas in Telugu and interpret for the benefit of normal people.

I hope you understand,  and do not drag me into the things, which I have not said and not interested.

It is a mystery that you have not posted your mail to Telugu Mata group.

               Why you expect an easy way to learn telugu?  Is it easy to learn english?  Please permit me to note that imitating is easy..by way of using certain English words with our mother tongue. But it is not easy to speak english ..and only english. But it is easy tp speak telugu with minimum effort.

             Kindly do not expect a short cut to learn any language.  One must follow the grammatical procedures only... when you learn any language. I would like to inform all... that most of the spoken english institutes are failing because they depend on certain short cuts.   I remind..the Total Literacy Programme had a slogan..".learn signature.. to learn alphabets." But everything stopped at signature only.

                  Learning telugu words for the english words we regularly use,  can certainly help us to speak our mother tongue..as the telugu grammar is in our habit. 

                Certain people are struggling hard to recall and recollect the telugu words we forgot to use.  Let them do their job.   All that we can do is learning english in its correct perspective and procedures..to speak english without trouble.  At the same time..we must impress and insist on ..our children.. kith and kin..to speak telugu with completely telugu words only.   I assure...those who do this...will develop their english speaking ability.  Our mind has that ability to respond four folded to our efforts.

భాషలు సోమరుల భాషలు, పనిమంతుల భాషలు అని రెండు రకాలు. మనుషులు పని చేయటం ద్వారానే వారి భాష పరిపుష్ఠి అవుతుంది. భాష స్థాయి ఆ భాష మాట్లాడేవారి నాగరికత స్థాయిని సూచిస్తుంది. సాంకేతిక ప్రగతిని భాష ప్రతిఫలిస్తుంది. సాంకేతిక ప్రగతి దిగుమతి అయితే పదాలు కూడ దిగుమతి అవుతాయి. సాంకేతిక ప్రగతి జాతి సమిష్ఠికృషిని సూచిస్తుంది. ఐరోపా భాషలు గత 400 సంవత్సరాలుగా ఆధునికమవటం వారి శారీరిక శ్రమఫలాన్ని గుర్తు చేస్తున్నాయి. ఉదాహరణకు...

ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా కల 10,000 రకాల పక్షిజాతులకు వివిధ పేర్లు పెట్టటం జరిగింది, ఆంగ్లంలో మరియు ఇతర ఐరోపా భాషలలో. ఇదంతా గత 300 సంవత్సరాలలో జరిగింది. మనదేశంలో 1260 రకాల పక్షులు జీవిస్తున్నట్టు శాస్త్రం తెలిసిన వారు చెబుతున్నారు. మనదేశంలో ఉన్నపక్షులకే పూర్తిగా తెలుగా పదాలు లేవు.  Partridge అనే పక్షికి తీతువు (దిగవల్లి పదకోశం) అని కనిపిస్తుంది. టిట్టిభము, తిత్తిరము, తిత్తిరి అనే పర్యాయ పదాలు (జి. ఎన్. రెడ్జి) కనిపిస్తాయి. Partridge లలో 50 రకాలున్నాయి. అన్నింటికి తెలుగు పదాలు ఉండటమంటె, తెలుగులో శాస్త్రఆధ్యయనాలు పెరగాలని అర్ధం. ఆ పని జరగకుండా పదాలను మనం సూచిస్తు ఉంటే ఎవరూ వాడరు. కొత్తపదాల అవసరం కలగేలా విశ్వవిద్యాలయాల్లో కృషి జరగాలి. మన భాషలో శాస్ర్రం పెరిగే కొద్ది భాష బలోపేతమవుతుంది. కొత్త పదాలు ఆయా రంగాలవారికి తెలిస్తేచాలు.

పదసంపత్తినంతా ప్రతిఒక్కరు తెలుసుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం కలుగదు. పదకోశాలను కూడ అనేక విభాగాలవారు కలసి తయారుచేస్తారు. భాషలో ఎన్నో సాంకేతిక పదాలు ఉంటాయి కావున ఆయా వృత్తుల వారు ఆయా పదాలను ఎక్కువగా వాడుతుంటారు. పదాల సాంకేతిక అర్ధాలు కూడ వేరుగా ఉండవచ్చు. ఉదా. కరపత్రము అంటే pamphlet. ఆయుర్వేదంలో కరపత్రము అంటే శస్త్రచికిత్స చేసే ఒక పరికరము. కాబట్టి మన మిత్రులు వెలికితీస్తున్న తెలుగుపదాలను కాపాడుకుని భవిష్యత్తులో వాడుకోవచ్చు. మన భాష బ్రతకాలంటే మనం, అంటే, అన్నివృత్తుల వారు అన్నిస్ధాయిలలో పనిచేయాలి.

తెలుగులో మనమింకా ధెజారస్ లాంటిదాన్ని ప్రచురించలేకపోయాము. అపుడు మాత్రమే మన పదాలకు సమీప అర్ధాలను వరుసగా అమర్చుకోవచ్చు, పాఠకులకు, రచయితలకు ఉపయోగపడేవిధంగా.

పాత తెలుగు పదాలు, ద్రవిడ పదాలు తిరిగి వాడటం బాగానే ఉంటుంది. కాని అది చాలా నిదానంగా జరగాలి. సంస్కృత వ్యతిరేకత ఇతర సమస్యలకు దారితీసి ఘర్షణలు తలెత్తుతాయి. భాషా శాస్త్రవేత్తలు భాష కదలికలను, మార్పులను గమనించి తెలియచేసేవారె కాని భాష పరిపాలకులు కాదు. వారు చెప్పిన విధంగా మాట్లాడాలంటె కుదరదు. అలా జరగదు. భాషలలో కలిగే మార్పులకు ప్రజలు కారణం. ఆమార్పులను అధ్యయనం చేసేవారు భాషాశాస్త్రవేత్తలు.

వృత్తిధర్మం పాటించకుండా ఎంతోమంది కాలం వెళ్ళదీస్తున్నారు. ఇదే అన్ని సమస్యలకు కారణమవుతున్నది. నేను వైద్యునిగా ప్రపంచంలో ఎన్నో దేశాలు చూశాను. వైద్యం, ఇంజనీరింగ్ మెదలయిన అన్ని చదువులు జపాన్ లో జపనీస్ లో, రష్యాలో రష్యన్ లో, ఇటలిలో ఇటాలియన్ లో, ఫ్రాన్స్ లో ఫ్రెంచిలో, జర్మనీలో జర్మన్ లో, చైనాలో చైనీస్ లో, స్పెయన్ లో స్పానిష్ లో.... చివరకు ఇరాన్ లో పర్షియన్ లో చదువుతుంటే, మనం మాత్రం అభివృధ్ది ఆంగ్లం ద్వారా మాత్రమే సాధ్యం అంటూ సోమరుల్లా మాట్లాడుతున్నాం.

నిజాం ప్రభుత్వం లో తెలుగు కి స్థానం లేదు. హైదరబాద్ నగరం లో ఏ సభలోనైన ఉర్దూ
గాని, ఇంగ్లిష్ గాని, మరాఠీ గాని మాట్లాడవచ్చు.

1921 లో జరిగిన Nizam State Social Conference లో వెంకటరామారావు అనే న్యాయవాది
తెలుగు లో మాట్లాడడనికీ ప్రయత్నిస్తే

అతనిని మాట్లాడనివ్వ లేదు. ఆ అవమానం తో, ఆ రోజే సురవరం ప్రతాప రెడ్డి, మాడపాటి
హనుమంత రావు, కొమర్రాజు లక్ష్మణ్ రావు గారు మరి

కొందరు కలసి ఆంధ్ర జనసంఘం అనే సంస్థను స్థాపించారు. ఆ తారువాత ఇది నిజాం ఆంధ్ర
మహా సభ గా మారింది.

ఇంకా విచిత్ర మేమిటంటే, రాజబహదూర్ వెంకటరామ రెడ్డి గారు, హైదరాబాద్ నగరం లో
బాలికలకు తెలుగు మాధ్యమం

లో వొక విద్యాలయం (మాడపాటి హనుమంత రావు గర్ల్స్ స్కూల్) స్థాపిస్తే దానికి
హైదరబాద్ గవర్నమెంట్ గుర్తింపు

ఇవ్వ నందున ఆయన దానిని మహర్షి కార్వే(పూనే) గారి స్త్రీ శిక్షా సంస్థ కు
affiliate చేసినడిపినాడు.

ఇవి నిజాం ప్రభుత్వం గొప్పదని చెప్పే వారంతా తెలుసుకోవలసిన విషయాలు.
