Dear Sir,

Happy to note telugu scripts over emails.  Can tell me how far telugu has entered computer domain? In the govt? and in private sectore? and how much in application software?

I am asking you this because; I work for with NGO which is engaged in R & D of regional language and computers. (Check up: http://www.kagapa.org ) We while developing application software models, developed multimedia Encyclopedia with 380+video clippings, 50+ audio and 10000+ pics. (This is the first of its kind in Indian languages) Maya kavyas of Poet Pampa, first poet of the Kannada language has been produced in e-form with full fledged search facility and with audio. Our organizations wish is that every language develop and harness the advantages IT is offering. We also interested in knowing what is happening in other languages. Their achievements and the challenges posed.

Please let me know.

Thanks,

KS NAVEEN

After reading saumya's blog I spent some time looking at other blogs
written in Telugu. I am really impressed with what is out there. So
far I have looked at blogs by koDavaTigaMTi rOhiNIprasaad^,
carasaala rENukaa prasaad^ (aMtaraMgaM) and svaatikumaari
(kalhaara). They are all interesting. svaatikumaari has nice
pictures with each of her poems.

I am tempted to begin blogging!

If you care to see some Telugu blogs, look at:
http://teluguweb.chanduonline.com/

May be there is a more comprehensive list of Telugu bloggers at some
other site.

Regards,
Ari Sitaramayya.

1. Is this govt or private sector?

This question is very much difficult to answer. But to my knowledge
It is more of loosly coupled individuals (either it may be pothana font of it may be padma/lekhini, or telugu blogs or telugu wiki)  using world class standards (Unicode) - supported by world class software firms (in browsers, applications etc.. ) with Govts grace (not to ban anything :), and giving freedom to these individuals to work on their interest)

2. KS NAVEEN might be interested in wiki errort (http://te.wikipedia.org )

3. Does Ari gaaru already started a blog? If yes can we get a link ?

4. Ari gaaru, you might look at http://veeven.com/koodali and http://telugubloggers.blogspot.com and http://bloglines.com/public/telugublogs

Finally Kudos to cbrao for making more people to know about blogging.
