I found this tool while surfing today.

This is similar to Lekhini but don't need pressing TAB key, you can see
what you are typing live. You can also insert english in between by
pressing F12 key. You can select 'Phonetic' or 'Telugu typewriter'
modes.

amazing thing is ..he is a tamilian ..
 
as far as i know..he works @ Oracle corp...(from my friend)

The logic may be same for all languages.
May be the lookup table differs. (This anyway is available with Unicode
Spec.)

hey, padma is not working on firefox 2.0 beta 1, any workaround? :-(

The workaround is to edit the index.rdf file inside the XPI file

Change the maxVersion from "1.5.0.*" to "2.0.0.*".

I am facing one more issue with FF since long time (same with Flock too). please see the attached file...Is that happening with me only or everyone else?
