నాకు తెలుగు నవలలు చదవడమంటే చాల ఇష్టం. ఇటీవల నేను భారతదేశం.కాం అనే
వెబ్సైట్ లో దాదాపు అరవై తెలుగు నవలల లింకులు ఇవ్వడం చూసాను . కొన్ని
పీ.డీ. ఎఫ్ లోను , మరికొన్ని తెలుగువన్ లింకులగాను ఇవ్వబడ్డాయి. తెలుగు
నవలా ప్రేమికుల కోసం లింక్ ను పంపుచున్నాను.

The links are ultimately going to TeluguOne.com.  The fonts displayed are not readable under Windows Vista, and no help was available on the page.

Any idea, which font is to be installed in order to read the text over there?

Actually, I read some small novel in the evening. it was in PDF.... Is
Font display a problem with PDF file too??

Why not? If the PDF file doesn't embed the font into the file, then system look for the same font in the local fonts folder. If yes, No problem, otherwise, the font won't display clearly.

Actually, while creating the pdf we can choose to embed the fonts. Also, if the fonts are not standard, they will be embeded in the document by default. He(Ramana Murthy) can try upgrading to latest Adobe Reader and check on it. I am able to read those documents properly on my Vista machine.

Thanks to all for the replies:  Still-

Sowmya garu:  They are not PDFs.  HTML pages..

Murali Krishna garu:  You are right - if the fonts are not embedded in the PDF, the system should be able to supply them.  The problem is I don't know which font they have used.   The generally seen 'font help?' is nowhere there.

Venkata Ramana garu:  I am using Adobe Reader 8, which I think is the latest one.  But the problem is not with the reader because what I am not able to read is not a PDF.

Krishna Mohan garu: That amounts transferring my problem from HTML to PDF. But the basic problem remains!

మీరు విండోస్ XP వాడుతున్నట్లయితే,

ఆ తర్వాత మీకు తెలుగు చక్కగా కనిపిస్తుంది. తర్వాత కూడా కన్పించకపోతే View - Encoding - Unicode (UTF-8) ప్రయత్నించండి.
