Regarding Hyderabad meet

Hi friends
It is a good thing that we are seriously thinking of a get-together in Hyderabad, and also of inviting the media and personalities. But for the first meet, let us not keep our hopes too high, and let us not get disappointed even if the media doesn't turn up, or people don't turn up. Even if a handful of us from the teluguwiki and telugublog groups get together and discuss over the weekend, it would be a great beginning. We needn't rush for this weekend also. We can plan properly, and hold it next week or later. Since Rome was not built in a day, even if we start in a small way, if we continue, more people will eventually join, and then we can expand and create public awareness. What is more important is we have to continue the momentum without getting ever disappointed. Our love for Telugu would keep us going.
Kiran, don't worry that there not many blogs were created after the TV9 interview. Definitely many would've watched it, and it would have at least made them aware about Telugu blogging. It is mainly because of your efforts that the number of Telugu blogs have rapidly risen over the past one year. We will continue our efforts aggressively, and will surely attain number one position.
For the first meet, if the media manages to turn up, it would be great. It would be good to find sponsors in that case. If you can somehow find sponsors, you can organize on a medium to bigger scale. Else, I do not think there is any need to do something grand, or spend too much money, as of now, we can keep it simple.
In the future, we can try to arrange the necessary funds through sponsors, or through voluntary contributions ( for which im ready ).
Also, we would need a website. Selecting a nice name, and buying the domain won't take much time. I am ready to do it. Till we get that, I am ready to host anything related, on the telugutanam.com domain (which is presently redirecting to a blog). For the first meet, we can create a simple html webpage, giving the date, time, and venue. I will put it on telugutanam.com.
We can discuss more on this topic..and then proceed slowly, in a planned way.

Dear Kiran....
The process is on the right track.... Instead of 2/3 weeks, make it on Ugadi, so that one month time is there.... Get hold or write to some executives who are in high positions and see that they will attend the meet.... Just a getogether like thing...
Once meet is over you can relese a press note to media... And try pulling Mr Kiran of Eenadu group by sending the concept and asking his blessings and once you did, you have done most of it...
