ఆ నల్లని వానిని, గొల్లవానిని
అల్లనల్లన పిల్లనగ్రోవిని
మల్లెల మాటున ఊదెడివానిని!
ఆ మధురా నగరీ మన మోహనుని
హలధారుని బలరాముని తమ్ముని
అల ఇలలో నరునకు -నారాయణుని!
ఆ రుక్మిణి రమణి రమ్మన్న వానిని
సాత్రాజితి రతి సమరోత్సాహిని
సారసాక్షుని, సాహసవంతుని!
ఆ రాజస కృష్ణుని, రస సామ్రాట్టుని
వనితాలోకము వలచిన వానిని
ఘనతాంబూలము లొసగిన వానిని!
ఆ తేజోశాలిని, తాత్విక జ్ఞానిని
పూజా మూర్తిని, పూర్ణ పురుషుని
పొందని జన్మము ఎందులకోయీ!

కొలువగా తలచేనో
కొలుతునే కోదండపాణినే
కలవ కన్నులవాడు
కమనీయ మూర్తి
కొలువై ఆతడుండగా
తలవగా నేటికి తక్కిన వారిని
కొలుతునే నేటికి కోదండపాణినే!

PS:
Listening to vocal renditionings of Mrs. SubbuLakshmi and singing
along. It is great to sing along బంటు రీతి కొలువు and staying
with in the raga, keep guessing after how many repetitions (?
saMgatulu ) of the line, you will get to the next line. When you
get to తుంట వింటికాని lingering there for awhile and taking it
heavenward is great. I don't hear the సాహిత్యం clearly, so I
don't understand all of it:(
