Vemuri-gaaru,

Yes, its Devulapalli's lyric. The lyric is available on large number of
websites and also in many of Telugu e-groups' archives. Here is one link:

Its originally written for a function at Pithapuram Raja's college in
Kakinada and first sung by Seeta & Anasuya (Vinjamuri Seeta, Avasaraala
Anasuya), set to raagaM: yamunaa kalyaaNi. It was they who initilly
popularized it.

అంటారు. గర్భవతులు ఇలా అలంకరించుకోరు.
ఈ ఉద్దేశములో కవి వాడారో అన్నది నాకు తెలియదు.
కాని ఇది ఒక సుందరమైన ప్రయోగము.
