Are there any English translations of Manu caritra?
I would like to know details, if any, about them.

Not yet published, to the best of my knowledge. Profs. Velcheru and
Shulman have translated some of the poems in the past (e.g. see their
Classical Poetry Anthology), and Shulman had a long essay based on
"Manucharitra" in the Festschrift: "Syllables of the sky", in Honour of
Velcheru Narayana Rao.

But I am aware of two translation projects in progress; one from Vizag,
and the other one from Velcheru & Shulman:

sir,
 Iam Dr.T.Sai krishna, and iam aprofessor and an artist. Iam happy to inform you that way back in 1980.s i have picturised Allasanipeddana's Manucharitra which was then published in Andraprabha wekly. I feel it this jucnture i can picturise it much better. my other fortcoming publication in the form of picture book along with the text is Jayadevss Geeth Gocind for which iam famous for.

Talking of translations and Amuktamaalyada, Prof. George Hart had once
introduced me to a UCB student named Srinivas Reddy who was at that time
working on translating Amuktamaalyada into English. Does anyone know if it
ever got published?

Here is an excerpt from his CV at www.srinivasreddy.org:

"After nine years of study and performance in the San Francisco Bay Area, Srinivas has recently relocated to New England where he plans to establish a foundation for South Asian music and literature. He is currently a visiting lecturer in the Center for Indic Studies at UMass Dartmouth. Srinivas is also working on a translation of the Telugu epic Amuktamalyada for Penguin Books."

So it is still a work in progress. By the way, Mr. Reddy is also an accomplished Sitar player.

There was a Geetha Govinda Abhinaya by Sriman Vasudevacharya  published by Sarawati Mahal Library years ago. We have a copy of it at Hyderabad as my father procured it for me for my use in dance. What is your picture book about?
I wish to know.

A long time back I had the oppotunity of enjoying the art (pertaining the characters of Manucharitra) of Dr T.saikrishna and at the same time I expressed my appreciation to him for taking up a project connected with Telugu literature.
