Can some one give me the NOTES for the popular
song "telavAradEmO" from the movie sRutilayalu?

Is it an "AbhEri" raagam?

Please clarify.

I remember I was told (source forgotten, surely not a celebrity) that
the scene happened like this: Viswanath depicted the scene to Sastry
gaaru and he could not come up with the pallavi soon. ఇలా అయితే ఇంక
తెలవారదేమో స్వామీ!, Viswanath said, and that became the pallavi
(rather, the song header)! I was told this by someone while quoting the
classic example ఏమని జెప్పం గురునాథా! spoken out by Tikkana while
writing a particular scene in ఆంధ్ర మహాభారతము.

Interestingly, this song won a nandi award that year. From offhand
memory, I remember that the director C.S.Rao was on the panel of judges
that year and he put the song aside twice thinking someone submitted an
annamayya keertana by mistake and called up Sastry gaaru when it came
to him a third time to get it clarified and was too surprised to know
it was indeed penned by Sastry gaaru. (Something to this effect was
quoted by Sastry gaaru himself in his book సిరివెన్నెల తరంగాలు. My
apology if I misquoted anything as I don't have the book with me right
now!)
