To add another example, in the movie lava kuSa, Lava (or Kusa) retorts
to Lakshmana thus (through the pen of Sadasiva Brahmam, I believe):
ఎర్ర గురివింద తన నలుపెరుగనట్లు
చెప్పుచున్నావు మీ రాము గొప్పలేల్ల
Nasy

I remembered the same when someone was giving another example, but
thought against it, somehow! Yeah, Nasy gaarU, it's penned by
sadaaSivabrahmam.
NaChaKi.

There are other people here in this group who are more conversant with
this and can give more info off-hand than I can. But, as a quick note,
I'd want to state that ఏ నిమిషానికి... was penned by kosaraaju. At
least a few, if not all, the metrical verses (పద్యాలు) were penned
by sadaaSivabrahmaM, and he's NOT the ghostwriter of samudraala.
I am not sure if the 'ghostwriter' took part in లవకుశ, but those
who believe in samudraala's talent will never let that idea come to
their minds, even if they know about the ghostwriter! (like I am) :-)
There has been a discussion here in this list, probably about a year
back about the same issue. You may try to search for the archives. I
don't underrate samudraala's talent, but for a man of such a good
talent, having a ghost is not conceivable to his fans! Of course, the
ghostwriter was a scholar too! :-)
My two cents.
Krishnarao gaaru,
I don't want to go deep into this samudraala and his well known ghost
writer's
details. One reason is: Samudrala Jr.'s close family members are on the net
and I am
not sure how 'd they feel. If you want "concrete evidence" it is not there
and you will never get it. Everyone in the film industry knows it well. At
least Arudra has written 2 lengthy articles about his ghost writer's
contribution. VAK Rangarao has umpteen no. of pieces hinting at real writer's name for
many of those songs and dialogues that are attrbuted to samudraala Sr. At
last, S Sr. himself wrote a somewhat apologetic piece about his friend's
contribution to his fame in కినిమా (a well known film magazine of 50s) in 1952.

In my place & home, they called it "గురుగింజ" - a seed whose surface
has red and black colors. During VinayakaChaviti festivals, my uncle
used to make Vinayaka out of clay using these seeds as eyes.He used to
put them in a way that would resemble real black eyes of the elephant,
which also are as tiny as these seeds compared to its large body
structure!

It was సముద్రాల రాఘవాచార్యులు that penned both dialogs and songs for
లవకుశ. I realize that some time back there was a discussion on this
forum about someone else being the ghost writer for సముద్రాల (senior).
However, I haven't seen any concrete evidence to this and until proven I
believe it as a mere speculation.

గురువింద తన నలుపు ఎరుగదు is a Telugu proverb. As Srinivas
Nagualapalli explained, a major portion of the body of the గురువింద
గింజ is reddish in color with a black spot in the back. The proverb
refers to people that don't recognize their own faults.
