Dear Friends,
                  Mr Hemantha Kumar wrote about NT Rama Rao,s film Sreekrishna Sathya. But the ever green mythological films of the Late NTR and also of the Telugu screen are
Seethrama Kalyanam ( NTR played the role of Ravana and also directed the film. The second one is Lavakusa and the third one is Narthasala.The Sahithyam of the Later Samudhrala and sadaisva Bramham went to the level of classics.. I will quote a few. In Seetha Rama Kalyanam Ravana asks and the apsarsa replies as Rambha. Then Ravana says " Nee uruvula soyagam chusi dhanave aiyunatavani uhinchanu". Here Samudhrala used Dhwani concept.One meaning is The trunk of a plantain tree.The thies of beautiful ladies are often compared to plantain trunks by the poets.Her name is Rambha and her thies are strong and beautiful.I need not write about the songs composed by Samudhrala and sadasiva Bramham in Lavakusa..In Narthana sals keechaka says to drupadhi" Advaitanayyena ardhamchesukovachu gani adadhani manassunu ardham chesu kolemu"
SVR's dialouges in Narthanasals are full with Sabdhalankras.That peroid was a Golden Age for the Telugu film industry. Will get such writers and such classical fils now. Doubtful Is it not?
