Telugu OCR

I want to introduce to you the Telugu OCR framwork using "banti". Those of you inclined, interested and patient, can try it out. You might have difficulties if you are using Windows. If you are using Mac, it will be doable. It should be relatively easy if you are on Linux (Ubuntu).

There are a lot of dependencies. But if you follow the instructions here, you must be in good shape.

The training and test data are big and diverse enough to let one get reliable estimates of accuracy. Our classifier achieves near human classification rate. We also integrate a much more advanced language model, which also helps us recover broken letters."

నేను గత 20 సంవత్సరరాలుగా   బాగా పనిచేసే  తెలుగు ఓసీ ఆర్/ OC R  పరికరం కోసం వెతుకుతున్నాను

ఐ కింద ఇచ్చిన  చిత్రం  దాని  తెలుగు ఓసీ ఆర్/ OC R ఫలితాన్ని  చూడండి

ఎవ్వరైనా  మహానుభావులు వారివారి మరియు వేరే వారి రచనలను  యూనికోడ్ లోకి  ఎంకార్చితే   చాలా మటుకు  తెలుగు   భాషాభివృద్ధికి  తోడ్పడగలరు

అలాంటి పీడీఎఫ్ లని ఇమేజ్ పీడీఎఫ్ గా మార్చుకుంటేనే గూగుల్ ఓసీఆర్ పని చేస్తుంది.

It's been a long time since I have looked at this group looks like nothing much has been happening which is unfortunate/

I do not know where you are working at the present time and how much free time you have toothy language computing 

I am still looking for a good Telugu OCR program which can be used by the general public.

About two years ago Mr. Dileep had offered to produce a Windows compatible GUI wrapper for the OCR program for which you have made the source code available on the Internet what happened after that?

Is it possible for you to gain contact Mr. Dileep and set this into motion so that a large number of Telugu language lowers can be benefited.
