Ok. Thanks. I use PLEX and I record a lot. I have 2 hard drives. So when I added the second hard drive for Plex a lot of episodes were recorded again. I found a way to find duplicates in Plex and went through one at a time and deleted all dupes. Since ripper points to one drive at a time, I was wondering if there was a way to catch them on the front end.

I saw some people having issues with the contact beam and the line gun upgrades. For me it happens with the Ripper, the second upgrade(ricochet tracer afaik) is not appearing. Apparently you should be able to buy it in the store, but it never appeared there, not even in ng+(am in Chapter 5).
Edit: I managed to solve this thanks to another Redditor! What happened was that even though the game said I had all the other upgrades, in reality, I was actually missing the Angled Launcher schematic which is found in Hydroponics. Once I got that upgrade schematic, I went to a bench and I was able to fully upgrade my Ripper. You will need to backtrack to each RIpper upgrade location in order to find out which one you are actually missing.
