I'm asking this because I always have to restart my laptop to disable virtualization, otherwise Fortnite won't get pass the BattlEye loading thingy. I read in some Fortnite update blog post that they now support Easy Anti-Cheat. Is there any way to force Fortnite to use this? Easy Anti-Cheat might be a solution to this problem (if my assumption that Easy Anti-Cheat does not require virtualization turned off is true).

Inside your fortnite game directory Program Files/Epic Games/Fortnite/FortniteGame/Binaries/Win64, you will have a BE and EAC executable. Replacing the BE executable with the EAC one fixes your problem. This will get you to the lobby, but I have been informed it will kick you when you try to join a game. Really irritating

Once you can view the tasks listed by the official Fortnite bot in the "find-the-force-quest" text channel, you can get started completing these Discord Quests. In order to complete the Find the Force Discord Quests you must both:

After livestreaming or screensharing to one other friend in a private Discord call or Discord server OR completing the tasks described in the official Fortnite Discord "find-the-force-quest" text channel, you will unlock the Coruscant's Pride Wrap.

You may also notice that each character teaches you different Force Abilities:

  • Anakin Skywalker - Uses the Force to pull objects and players towards you.
  • Darth Maul - Uses the Force to lift objects (rocks) around you and launches them forcefully at enemies. Good for a one-hit kill.
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi - Use the Force to push enemies and objects away from you.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is here! It brings a free Lego Insider skin and redemption codes with it, along with a new Victory Umbrella. We've also got pages on new features like Medallions, Weapon Mods, and how to complete a Train Heist.Meanwhile, learn what the best weapons are in the current season, how to get XP fast, and what the best PC settings are to help earn a Victory Crown.

In addition to the Force ability, you will always be granted a faster sprint speed and double jump while you have the lightsaber equipped. Combine these new powers with the blocking ability of your lightsaber, and you'll become a force to be reckoned with for the rest of the match. Note that if you're looking for the other main Star Wars weapon, then head to one of the Fortnite Republic chests locations to get the DC-15 Blaster Rifle.

The following is the second batch of quests, if you need help finding DC-15 Blasters or force abilities refer to the 'Search a Republic chest' and 'Learn Force abilities at Rift Gates in three different matches' guides above.

As the Fortnite Star Wars event recently started, it is now time to learn everything about it. In this guide, you will find answers to your questions on how to use the force in Fortnite and also how long is the Star Wars Fortnite event. If you are curious about both, keep reading because below, you will find all the information you need!

The Find the Force event lets players enjoy some of the iconic assets of the Star Wars universe in Fortnite. The two big companies came together for another annual event to merge the excitement between Star Wars and Fortnite players and enthusiasts. Let's cut to the chase and show you how to use the force in Fortnite!

Force is one of the most iconic terms in the Star Wars universe. Jedis and Siths are powered by the "force," and it lets them control others physically or sometimes mentally. You might have seen Darth Vader strangling his generals in the movies without touching them, of course, by using the force. Luckily, Epic Games has added the mechanics to Fortnite too.

Once you complete your training, you will be granted the abilities. First, choose the lightsaber as your primary weapon. Then, hold the block button first and then the melee button to use the force. If you are on a PC, hold the right-click on your mouse and then the lift-click. The buttons for PlayStation are L2 and R2, respectively, and LT, and RT for Xbox.

Fortnite's new season is three days away and while Epic hasn't confirmed anything official about it, dataminers have been making a few discoveries. One of those discoveries not only suggests Star Wars will return but that it will bring force powers along with it.

Lightsabers have been a popular part of previous Star Wars crossovers and leaker iFireMonkey claims the next collab will be no different. However, they've added a list of ways you may well be able to harness your inner Jedi and use the force. Not only to throw around your opponents but to also potentially leap away from trouble when necessary.

iFireMonkey's list of ways players might be able to use the force in season two is eight items long. Unfortunately, force choke is not on there, so no making your Darth Vader skin even more realistic than it already is. What will be included in Fortnite's force abilities, if the leak is accurate, is lifting, jumping, and even summoning lighting, presumably Emperor Palpatine-style.

You'll also be able to pull, push, rip, script, and vacuum using the force, again, providing the leak is an accurate one. iFireMonkey is certainly a Fortnite leaker with a proven track record, but as the eternal wait for Family Guy stuff in the game continues to prove, sometimes Epic either put stuff in Fortnite's code to trick us, or it decides to scrap ideas even after they have passed a point where they're ready to go.

The ability to use the force will be great, but it will take a pretty special recreation of it to top Fortnite's lightsabers. The weapons were so popular when they were first added to the game that players silently agreed to drop all other weapons and have one-on-one duels with them. Throw the force into those battles too and we might well be about to get some pretty accurate recreations of iconic Star Wars fights in the BR game.

"To address Epic's decision to launch 'Fortnite' outside of Google Play, Google assembled an internal 'Fortnite Task Force,'" a new legal filing in Epic's ongoing lawsuit with Google says. "A collection of running notes from meetings of the task force, which met daily in early August 2018, reflect Google's anti-competitive aim," the filing says.

It's clear to me that the war between console players and pc players will never end. With the removal of the legacy on console several derogatory and offensive remarks , made by pc players towards console players, were made on the thread regarding the removal announcement. Epic Games did not acknowledge the biased comments console players were receiving nor the offensive remarks made towards console players. With the further neglect of helpfulness and willingness to help keep the game fair between PC and console players I believe we should no longer have to be forced to take cross play as mandatory. It should be a option we can choose for ourselves. Console players should not have to be forced to suffer ridicule, slander, offensive remarks and harrassment because of the way they play. The game was meant to be fun and fair and enjoyed by anyone who wants to play. Instead it's divided by stereotype of pro's, noobs, PC, console, and hackers/cheaters. It's a divided community and each "faction" has horrible things to say about another group and wants something taken away or modified in another group. With all that said I plead with you to sign this petition if your tired of the drama and just want a divided choice of your own and show epic we want to control the option of cross platform.

@MH4 those attack on Titan weapons are too op. Got 6 wins in a row last night on squads using the grapple gun (don't know the actual name) because it's so easy to use and so hard to hit someone using it. Only didn't get the seventh win because force crossplay meant we came up against a level 450 PC player and M/KB have zero recoil so you get twatted across map (I used to play on PC and it's the easiest way to play)

"People prefer Fortnite over other games in part because Fortnite facilitates a community. When millions of players are forced to drop from the community overnight, Fortnite itself becomes less attractive, not only to the players who now cannot join but also to every other player."

Fortnite has been an influential force in games and culture over the last few years. The game had more than 350 million players as of April, benefiting from the influx of people spending more time at home during the coronavirus pandemic. Quarantine has also been a boon for Houseparty, which allows people to chat over video and play games with their friends. Some 50 million users signed up to use the app in March and April.
