Hello, I have some recurring expenses that I am trying to map out in a calendar. I have attempted to transfer it from excel to outlook and use their calendar but it would not transfer. If you guys could either help me get it transfered into outlook to use their calendar or to generate a calendar in excel with the data either would work perfectly fine.

@mdockter Please see attached file. It's based on one of many Calendar templates available on-line. This particular one (Family Event Planner) came up a while ago in this forum in connection when a runner wanted to use it to plan a training schedule for a marathon. The original template wasn't very useful, so I changed it around a bit so that it would display the actual event(s) for the day, rather than just state that "Something is due today".

I have a date column in Excel that contains dates in the numerical format (for example 42349 would be 12/11/2015). I have tried parsing or changing the format of the column but Alteryx does not support this kind of a date and generates a null value when operated upon.

I am trying to automate the process of preparing a model so changing th format of the date in Excel is not an option. Also, the data exceeds 1 million rows so Excel won't support it either. How can change this to a date format?

If you put in any number > 0 in Excel and change the format to "Short Date" or any of the other date formats, it wil convert it to a date using the definition above. Hope this is what you were asking for. Thanks!

There is a slight amendment needed to that date conversion module you posted. You need to minus 2 off the number provided by Excel, due to the issue with 29th Feb 1900 and the inclusiveness of the start/end dates. (1900-01-01 is day 1 not day 0, and 1900 was not a leap year but excel calculates it wrongly).

Hi everyone, I'm trying to use the "simulate arbitriry signal" function to simulate a ground motion. When I define signal here, it can only read lvm format file. I wondered if there's anyway I can convert an excel file or txt file into lvm format so that I can use this function?

I'm trying to use the attached vi to input a groundmotion so that I can simulate an earthquake using a shake table. However the function I'm using, "simulate arbitrary signal express vi", only read lvm file.

I was trying to generate the signal from the data but failed. So I went back to trying to use the simulate arbitrary signal function. I wrote a vi that's suppose to convert the excel file to a lvm file. And attached is the generated lvm file that seems wrong. Can you help me to look at the read_signal vi? Thanks a lot.

Excel is a Microsoft Office product that writes "Excel Files", files in a somewhat proprietary format that have the extension .xls or .xlsx. You are dealing with a "comma-separated variable", or .csv, file that (again, by "default") Microsoft uses Excel to open and edit, but it is not an Excel file, but rather a 2D array of (usually numeric) data separated by a character, usually a comma.

Able2Extract Professional is the only PDF converter that offers Custom PDF to Excel conversion. This distinctive feature allows you to save hours spent on re-formatting converted spreadsheet data.

The software offers unique custom conversion tools backed by AI that give you full manual control over how you export your tabular data to Excel. If you are looking for speed and convenience, online PDF to Excel tools are the way to go - they are free and only require an internet connection. They can be accessed through any browser on all operating systems, whether you are using desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone.

It offers features such as extracting only tables (without the surrounding content) in just a few clicks, templates for similarly formatted files, batch converter for converting multiple files in one go, manually setting columns, rows, headers and footers, choosing between Microsoft Office and open source spreadsheet file formats, and gives a preview of the Excel file before the conversion takes place.

The usual process of converting PDF to Excel through a desktop application consists of a couple of steps: open a PDF document, choose a desired file format, page range, or other advanced options for a custom-tailored conversion, and then launch the conversion to get an output Excel file.

One additional thing to consider is multi-language support if you need to extract some special characters out of your scanned PDFs. Able2Extract Professional supports English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Greek, Dutch, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish languages.

Some online tools advertise the possibility of converting multiple PDF files to Excel in one go. Most of the time, users need to sign-up or provide some kind of personal information to proceed with the batch PDF to Excel conversion.

Files can be converted to Excel, open office, or CSV file formats and users can apply templates for similarly formatted documents. Output file can be placed in the source directory, users can specify the location, or they can opt for merging results into a single file which is a huge time saver when tabular data from a large number of PDFs needs to be analyzed in one spreadsheet.

Can someone please tell me the easiet way to convert excel to csv format in workato what I would avoid is renaming the file using on-prem or SFTP server, however any direct file renaming works which can be hosted in workato. Or any other potential solution will help.

@gary1, thank you for calling out that the link from that product hub page isn't working. As you said, the link may have been removed if the recipe changed or was no longer working. I will bring it to our team's attention.

how do I convert all these excel records and upload them under my initative-123? I came across this link Import data from a CSV file Atlassian Support but does it apply to uploading to an initiative or does it not matter?

First, you can do what @Yash Raj recommended which is prepare a CSV file with the appropriate linking and then do the bulk import. Please keep in mind that you'll need to be a site admin to import. If this is tricky, I have a second option for you.

Import all the issues (I'm pretty sure they need to be Epics, but not sure since I don't know how you have your Issue hierarchy set up). When you are preparing your csv (excel) file, make sure you add a label so that you can quickly look up your 500 issues after you import them. Once they are all imported, search for your label and it should return your 500 issues. From there, go to bulk edit and edit the issues. You are going to want to add a parent link to the issues which will be the key for your initiative.

Somehow I prefer not so automated solutions, but this is certainly an error. The Olifant is indeed quite tricky. The good about Olifant: you can edit the TMX. But TBH you can edit the Excel upfront, so GC is certainly the best here.

this has not worked in my case: simple 2 column Excel file, that I have tried to convert both into TM and TB, but I have always get an error. I find upsetting that Trados does not have a reliable glossary converter.

Currently, I have an export of data to excel. It has a column for customers, serial numbers, and dates by month. In the date columns it shows the consumption per month. I would like to convert this to a data table that would allow me to report in power bi. Below is the original format, and the following table what I would like to convert it to, looking for an efficient method to convert
