Hi All!
I just tried to get Trump working on a Mac. First it didn't want to
install under firefox 3.6 so I downgraded to 3.5. But it wouldn't
record. I filed a bug and it was closed because there is a snapshot
fix for 3.6. So I upgraded again to 3.6 and downloaded the snapshot.
But it still won't record. Anyone have any luck working on a Mac?
Thanks!
-Steve

Trump does not work for iframes and popup windows at the time being.

Sorry for the inconvenience. We will get back to work on trump once
the 0.7.0 is officially out.

If you try trump on www.google.com, will it record the search UIs?

Thanks,

Jian

Hi John!
It doesn't appear to.

Here are my steps:
Firefox -> Tools -> Trump IDE
<<IDE Pops up>>
Check to make sure it is set on record
go to www.google.com
<<Nothing happens in Trump IDE>>
Trying doing a search
<<Nothing happens in Trump IDE>>
Select google text box, right click and choose show in Trump
<<UI Model browser pops up but it's blank >>

Hopefully this helps.

Trump does not work the same way as Selenium IDE does because it only records UI ui objects, not the actions.

That is to say, you need to click on any UI objects that you want to test. The selected UI object will be
pushed into a queue in trump. Then, click the "generate" button, it will show you the generated UI module.

Hi Jian!
It doesn't appear to be recording the UI objects as far as I can
tell. I start the IDE click on elements and am not getting any sort
of objects in my queue. If I click the generate it will complain that
a uiModelArray is not defined and the root node in the tree is null.
I'm following the tutorials in the wiki but I'm not getting anywhere.

Hi Steve,

I don't have a Mac to test on.

Matt, could you try trump on Mac for www.google.com?

Or could anyone with a Mac try to reproduce this?

Thanks in advance,

Jian

Hi All!
I seem to have it working now. I'm unsure what I changed but it
appears that I had to click stop and then record again. I'll keep
playing and see how it goes.

Really? That is wired. Thanks for reporting this. I will create an issue to track this problem.

Thanks,

Thanks to Vivek, this issue has been fixed. Please try the following trump 0.8.0 snapshot.
