Hi Jian, we need to do something about the support for Selenium 2.0. I did the presentation on Thursday for Tellurium and everyone liked it and they are willing to try it provided that we have a plan to support Selenium 2.0.

Thanks
Haroon

Good question. Our main focus will be on Tellurium Engine to support Tellurium UI module more efficiently.
But we could keep supporting selenium if there are many requests from our users. At some point, we
probably split tellurium core into two projects, i.e., one as a wrapper of Selenium and the other one purely supports Tellurium
Engine.

Is it safe to guess that Tellurium will upgrade to Selenium 2 at some
point or is the Tellurium team planning on transitioning away from
Selenium components?

Here (live) at the selenium conference -- also lots of discussion and excitement about selenium 2.   Any work in this direction would, I believe, be extremely attractive generally.

If any of you are at the Selenium Conference this week, I'd love to say hi -- send me an email if you're here!

cheers,
Jason

Anyone mentioned Tellurium there?

Not yet but this it's day 1 of three.  Lots of talk about using css selectors with selenium, so I would say that is less of a differentiating factor between selenium and tellurium.

If I hear mention of tellurium, I'll let you know.

Jas.
