I am passing along a color report from Kevin Kimball

Laura and I just got back from a 640 mile trip through NC. The colors are definitely at their peak. We went up the Cherohala and the colors on the NC side about 1000 elevation lower than the top (just past the flying squirrel poles) are spectacular. This continued up the blue ridge parkway and then down through the center of the state and back to TN.

Definitely get out for a ride now!
