Hey Riders,
On Tuesday, September 13th, I will be hosting a ride to The Nantahala Gorge. The weather is forcast to be fantastic and you should have "no excuses " to miss this one. A great ride on a perfect day, so come out and play. Here are the details:
This challenging ride will cover 165 miles and will give you a chance to test your skill in the twisties. The route will include The Tail of the Dragon (both ways), a stop for gas in Robbinsville, the Nantahala Gorge (via Route 74), lunch at the Rivers End Restaurant, a return by way of Route 28, and a ride across Fontana Dam before returning down the Dragon. The scenery is terrific and the roads are great! Join us for a day of fun. Please RSVP at dess...@charter.net. Meet at Food Lion at 8:45 for riders meeting with KSU at 9:00 AM. Kahite riders meet up with us at Rocky Top in Vonore at 9:10 AM. Hope to see you there
