Roger Nicholson (734) 765-1379 has a very nice trailer for sale.
I'm selling a 2006 Rance Renegade All-Aluminum Cycle Hauler/cargo trailer
that's in very good condition.
Specifications/features are:
- 7' X 12' exterior dimension for main cargo area, but 15' front-to-back
through center of "V" nose.
- 5,000 lb. GVW rating; trailer weight is approx. 1,450 lbs (aluminum has
its advantages!)
- Dual axle; ST205/75R 14 Goodyear tires (about 8,000 miles on the trailer
-- tires show no appreciable wear.)
- Electric brakes; 7-pin electrical connection to towing vehicle; emergency
brake battery included (holds a charge just fine)
- Interior dimensions: 70" high; 81" wide -- no interior wheel wells
- Overall length: 18" 8" (tongue-to-back door)
- Strong Stainless Steel hinges & rear latches; all-aluminum sturdy frame
- Diamond plate stone guard in front of "V" nose
- Cargo floor has two flip-up wheel chocks (for motorcycle transportation);
but sit flush with the floor when not in use.
- Rear stabilizing jacks
- Spring-assisted rear door (enclosed spring, like a garage door)
- Rubber torsion suspension
- Seamless roof

This trailer has the premium "Warrior Package", which includes:
- "Beaver tail" frame (manufactured to taper cargo floor down in back, to
ease loading vehicles/cargo)
- All-epoxy exterior sides (NO rivets!)
- White finished vinyl ceiling and interior side panels; floor is unfinished
marine-grade plywood
- Anodized side trim
-Transition flap (fill the gap between door/ramp and cargo area when
loading, made of sturdy diamond plate aluminum
- LED fuse panel
- ALL LED exterior tail, side-marker and clearance lights
- fully illuminated interior: both incandescent and (two) fluorescent
lighting
- Four Aluminum ("Mag") wheels and Goodyear tires -- in very good condition
- Salem side vents (adjustable to open to front or rear)
- Side access door w/ double lock (one is a dead-bolt)
- Covered ramp (thick bed liner material)
In addition, I've installed a solid-oak wall anchor system that is based on
3/8" stainless steel anchors ("T-nuts") installed in 1" X 4" oak rails, and
I'm including several 3/8" steel eye bolts that can be screwed-in/moved
along this wall anchor system.
Also, I installed a solid oak spare tire mount; and I'm including a
brand-new Goodyear spare tire/wheel (over $100).
And I'm including an elevated ~4' X 4' platform I fabricated that allows you to
- - like a second tier shelf. Completely removeable, the 2 X 4 "legs" for
this platform screw into the wall anchors with longer eye bolts (all
included)
I'm also throwing-in the professional series Master locks for the rear door
latches (about $50 ea.), the two cable wheel locks, and the lock for the
hitch latch.
I'm asking $4,500. The dealer tells me this model is no longer available --
it was too expensive to build (over $7,000); So Rance now makes a cheaper
version that isn't nearly as nice - - and without all these additions I have
on this trailer.
