Hope so! :D I tried messing around with Spotify and so far:
- it works with the playback controls that are in development for version 1 (play/pause/next etc..)
- it works with individual track requests
- but it doesn't work with artists/albums/playlists/genres. The reason seems to be that Spotify doesn't support M3U playlists (which is what TellDJ uses). I will read into the format that Spotify does support and try and include a converter into TellDJ so that if you set Spotify as your player, it will convert it to the new format :)
If you want to test it with the tracks only, you can set it as your media player (one or two) in the Voice Recognition Lab.
Fire up the lab......Settings.....then in the "Player Name and Location" section at the bottom, enter "Spotify" in the left box (or whatever you want to call it) and the location in the right box. This location, by default, will either be C:\Program Files (x86)\Spotify\spotify.exe or C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Spotify\spotify.exe.
You can then launch tracks with Spotify and, hopefully in version 1, the rest of the categories :)
Thanks for bringing the Spotify issue up!
