Hi supporter,

Sign this letter to CM Jayalalitha, support the people in Kudankulam

Day two: Protest at Kudankulam continues. Eighteen more people arrested, food supply running low, police cornering them steadily.

The government is forcing an unsafe nuclear plant on the people of Kudankulam.[1] Their own Chief Minister, Jayalalitha, has betrayed them.[2] Their fellow protestors have been arrested, yet they have not given up.[3]

Right now, they need our support. There’s a letter, addressed to the CM, which lists the demands being made by the people. Organisations and individuals across the country have already signed this letter. More signatures will add strength to the struggle on-ground.

You should sign this letter to CM Jayalalitha because it will help show that the people protesting on-ground are not alone.

This letter will be given to the CM. The government is trying to crush the spirit of people with brute force. If we don’t stop them now, the next unsafe nuclear project could be forced upon anyone of us.

World over, countries are adopting energy efficiency measures and using renewable energy to meet their needs.[4] Tamil Nadu can do the same.

Nuclear accidents don’t heed geographical boundaries, nor should the support for those who want to be safe from them. Support the people of Kudankulam before it’s too late.

Thanks a billion!
