Our customer in KS is looking for a WebMethods / EDI contractor for a 6-12 month contract. All work must be done onsite, no remote. They will only consider Citizens, Green Card or EAD for this so no H1B candidates please. Those who can interview on-site will be given first preference, but the manager is also open to hire off phone and Skype interviews.

 

Design, develop and support integrations in the middleware platform (webMethods 10.X) with focus on supporting the company's EDI program. The position is focused on implementation of EAI and B2B solutions for various integration needs in the enterprise. Qualified candidates will also be responsible for supporting the existing integrations in the platform and will work in conjunction with the IT team, Onsite/Offshore contractors, customers, and various business partners for process changes to design and develop solutions to support needs of business.

 
Responsibilities:

• EDI daily operations including break/fix
• Onboarding new EDI trading partners
• EDI documents for existing trading partners
• Work on large scale EDI projects and enhancements
• Collaborate with business partners, technology and architecture teams 
• Review EDI trading partner provided implementation guides/mapping specifications and determine the type of integration work that is needed based on the requirements
• Translate trading partner provided implementation guides/mapping specifications and develop high quality EDI XML/X12 mapping
• Apply the best pattern to use for each integration scenario to gain the best performance, reusability and maintainability
• Support the processes, standards, and tools to enable system integration development and support 
• Support the processes that ensure application availability and manage the application life cycle for the middleware and related applications
• Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously 
• Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams
• Driven, self-motivated, able to work under pressure using sound judgment and professionalism
• Support the existing infrastructure and integrations in production
• Ability to work remotely off hours and during scheduled activities 

 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT experience utilizing webMethods
• Design, development, and support within webMethods middleware
• Working knowledge of webMethods BPM, TN partner profiles, business rules & logic, B2B and messaging components
• Experience with webMethods integration with EDI including transaction sets such as 753, 754, 810, 820, 832, 846, 850, 855, 856, 860, 865, 997, etc.
• Working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), JMS, Web Services (SOAP, REST), and transfer protocols such as HTTP, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, AS2, SMTP transmission, PGP encryptions 
• Solid experience utilizing SQL and XML
• Experience with ERP integration
• Proficient in the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Qualified candidates will be motivational thought leaders, driven individuals, and possess exceptional business acumen, coupled with strong working knowledge of middleware implementations and common EDI transaction
• Experience implementing, designing and enforcing project management methodology and controls
• Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail
• Strong work ethic with excellent time management, ability to work with diverse teams, and lead meetings in person as well as digital tools
• Excellent communication skills, presenting, listening and informing. Can communicate up, down and across the organization and with external trading partner/customers
