This role requires experience in project implementation, data and system integration testing (SIT), data management, functional testing, and regression testing. The individual must have the ability to translate functional requirements/design specifications into quality test cases. To be successful the candidate must be experienced at performing tests to simulate attacks to identify vulnerabilities and ways in which an organization might be exploited by hackers and viruses. As a Cyber Security Analyst, the individual must be able to assess any risks to see how security policies can be improved and possess critical thinking skills to resolve unforeseen issues that could lead to cyber-attacks. The individual must also be driven and well-organized, exhibit excellent leadership qualities, with strong learning abilities and works well in a team environment. It is essential for the individual be self-motivated and tenacious, thrive in a collaborative, Agile environment, and complete tasks to agreed schedules. The Project Team will look to this individual to assist in improving and maintaining the general testing framework for scheduled releases on an on-going basis and coordinate the tasks and activities of the broader testing team.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze and translate functional requirements to create and execute test cases for large program initiatives
• Identify test scenarios based on the understanding of systems, interfaces, network and system security audits, and security policies, and maintain test cases and test data using ALM.
• Actively participate in requirement reviews, gain an understanding of functional specifications and provide feedback.
• Prepare test strategies/test plans (that include release dates, types of testing, scope of the project, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, etc.); identifying all testing resource needs.
• Planning, executing, and managing the testing effort for the CSOC domains
• Manage defect tracking and provide informative updates as needed and facilitate defect management meetings.
• Perform all aspects of testing, including integration system testing, and testing of data processing systems testing
• Evaluate tools and systems for configuration errors or insecure security settings.
• Participate in production validation and/or support as needed
• Comply with Huntington's standards of the SDLC and PLC and adhere to industry standard testing strategies and procedures.

 
Job Requirements:
Required Skills:

• 8-10 years of QA experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience that include the following:
• Negotiation skills with the ability to influence others by information/knowledge sharing
• Proficiency in using testing tools (ALM), in addition to in depth knowledge of common testing methods, terminology and industry best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain system issues clearly and concisely to all levels of management, and establish effective working relationships with our internal customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in an Agile-Scrum environment
• Prefer experience with configuration of networking tools
• Aptitude in querying databases using QMF/SQL or Roscoe
• Knowledge of data structures, data management practices, various corporate security rules, legal and regulatory obligations such as PCI, SOX or similar standards
• Advanced knowledge of using software packages or tools for processing or displaying data (ex: Microsoft Excel with report generation validation for .csv and PDF format).
• Familiarity with Linux, UNIX, or other NIX OS.
