20,000 more win Teletalk SIMs

Teletalk will issue SIMs (subscriber's identity modules) to 20,000
more lottery winners in the Dhaka zone in the second phase.

The winners were selected from about 383,000 applications through a
draw in Dhaka on Saturday.

The Teletalk authorities are expecting to release the track numbers
of the winners and the dates of SIM distribution by Sunday on their
web site - www.gold.teletalk.com.bd and www.silver.teletalk.com.bd .

The winners will need to collect SIM from the 53 branches of the City
Bank, Basic Bank, Prime Bank, and the Dhaka Bank.

Teletalk managing director M Obaidullah presided at the programme. He
said SIMs were distributed through a draw to avoid hassles.

A winner needs to pay Tk 2,700 for a SIM along with a recharge card
valued at Tk 300.

Teletalk has more than 70,000 subscribers, of which about 47,000 were
been selected through a draw.

Fifty thousand were selected through another draw on May 22 from
433,461 applications. The SIM distribution began on June 4.
