If you're joining the group, here is your chance to tell us something
about yourself. So I'll start!
My name is Paul Sutherland, I'm a writer on astronomy and space and I
set up the Skymania website as a bit of a sideline to my professional
activities. I've been interested in astronomy since I was about nine
and have spent many year supporting the activities of the UK's leading
group for beginners to the subject, the Society for Popular Astronomy.
I seem to have a bit of a collection of observing equipment including
a 10-inch reflector, giant binoculars, a couple of ETXs, and some
small refractors. They might get used a little more if I did not
currently live in a top-floor flat in London.
