I'm a newbie who's bought a used NexStar SE5 but without any cables. I'be tried to find out what I need, but it seems to me to be a bit of a maze. Also it would clearly be cheaper to buy what I need via eBay than from the major suppliers of accessories. My questions are mainly about updating the firmware on the handset. They are
1. How can I find out what version of the firmware do I have on the handset.
2. What connections do I need. My laptop has a 15 pin RS232 male connection or USB.
3. What connection do I need to the handset.
4. How can I find out which firmware to download onto the handset to update.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Many thanks
