Teleportd Stream API not working

Currently the stream api is not working at all. It tries to connect
and no response it sent back. Also two days ago the stream api worked
but the track parameter caused errors. So we cannot filter stream by
track. Is someone looking into this and is it a known issue?

As far as I can see the /stream endpoint is perfectly working. I invite you to navigate to the following URLs with your browser:

Could you provide me with more information about the errors you see.

On Sat morning I was getting a timeout as I was getting no response for the server. Right now it seems the stream server is down as well. Its hard to give you an error message as I am getting no response. Is there a page where we can check the status of the streaming server as currently I have an application which crashed because of it.

Hi Ankur,

While we're in beta, the API is running on nodejitsu which is suffering some connectivity issues now and then.

As soon as we go out of beta, we'll dedicate a more serious solution to serve the API.

In the meantime, please report to us any dysfunction you experience so that we can report back to nodejitsu and fix them asap.

We're seeing the problems as well. We're restarted the nodejitsu instances but it's not helping.

I'll move the API to a more stable server and will update you asap with an IP address until the DNS propagate.

Unfortunately the APIs still don't work (from yesterday afternoon). Both streaming and search.

I don't know what I'm wrong or if it's a problem of server.

We've seen the API working perfectly up until yesterday night and had a few alerts this night but now things are back to normal.

Have you any retry mechanism implemented around the endpoints you use?

Hi all,

After investigating, it might be the case that the 3scale indirection we're using to track/generate API keys is the culprit here.

Please stay tuned for an update and please do not hesitate to report any issue.

If we confirm that assumption and find out that the 3scale service is not reliable we'll take the time to implement something in-house to up our availability.

I think this was just a glitch at the network level.

No problem. I was noticing issues with the streaming API where I am getting very few pictures in the stream now.
