401 Unauthorized error

Hi I've been using xlite 4 with our Cisco SIP gateway and want to try
Telephone. When entering the same settings as I have in xlite, I get a
401 Unauthorized error from the SIP server when trying to connect.
Anyone know what this could be?

Also tried another free app call Zoiper http://www.zoiper.com/softphone/classic/
that works fine. I've tried every combination of checkboxes (ICE, SRV,
proxies etc.) How come only Telephone.app won't work? Shame as it
looks much better than these other clients :(

Any luck here? I'm in the same boat, however I'm using Jive (getjive.com). I get a "401 Unauthorized", but my Bria client works fine....

I wonder if the problem might be that the service requires TLS
