FritzBox sound problem investigation

Hi,

I have a question for people who have FritzBox and have configured its three-digit accounts in Telephone. Do you or do you not have the problem when the sound in the outgoing calls is distorted unless you check “Use only G.711 codec” in Telephone sound preferences? I’d like to investigate the logs and need your help with that.

Hi,

I think it was a former problem of the Fritzbox. It should be solved with actual Firmware. I am using 6.51 and don't have such problem anymore.
May be some older Fritzboxes like 7070 willl not get Firmware with the problem solved.

I still do have the problem. The device is Fritz!Box 7390 with Firmware 6.83

What tests should I make and where do I find the logs?

Nevermind, I found the log path in FAQ. If I should test specific things let me know...
