no sound on outbound calls

I have no sound on outbound calls. I can't hear the person at the other end at all and they hear garbled voice..

All incoming calls are excellent. I've also configured x-lite and this works for both incoming and outbound calls.. 

I enabled debug and found that when I make an outbound call it logs an Bad RTP pt.

I should probably add that the router is a Fritz!box 7390 - Firmware-Version 84.05.06

Contrary to another recent post I can confirm that the router supports the following VoIP codecs: G.711, G.726-32, G.726-40, G.726-24 G.711a and G.711u G.729, G.722, ILBC clear mode

I'm getting the same behavior with a Fritz!box 7390. Incoming calls work perfectly, but outgoing calls are heavily distorted or don't have any sound at all. The log ist at https://gist.github.com/kkaefer/88de28b66933a5a620c4. (**610 is an internal number, but I get the same results with an external number). I'm using the App Store version 1.0.4 of Telephone.app
