Spotify opening when starting Telephone

Hi together, whenever I start Telephone the Spotify app get's started to. That also happens when awaking the computer from sleep while Telephone is still open and Spotify is not running. 

I disabled the "Pause iTunes and Spotify during call" which remotely seems to be connected to this behavior. No success so far.

Anyone has an idea how to disable starting Spotify whenever Telephone comes up?

I'm at OS X 10.11.6

Hello Bernhard,

We've discovered that this happens when Spotify is located not in the root /Applications, but somewhere else, for example in the user's ~/Applications. The only solution to prevent the automatic starting of Spotify is to keep it in the root /Applications directory. This is a bug in macOS.

Thanks a lot! Moving Spotify from my personal ~/Applications folder to the system /Applications folder solved it.
