Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for talented and passionate Android software engineers to help on defining and developing world class solutions. Main responsibilities are:
· Evaluate business requirements and translate into technical requirements;
· Development of core components to be reused on SAMSUNG platforms;
· Interact with Multicultural Partnerships and Customers in different places of world;
· Create architecture solutions and technical documentation;
· Create Technical Feasibility Studies and Proofs of Concept for selected solution challenges.
Background /Experience
· Fluency in English;
· Smart, analytical, and creative problem solver;
· In-depth knowledge of the Android SDK, dev environment, and distribution systems;
· Good understanding of Mobile platforms and Android OS versions;
· Good understanding of integration with famous services like Google, Facebook, Tweeter;
· Good understanding of REST web services consumption and oAuth in the client side;
· Good understanding of Linux OS;
· A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. A Masters is a plus.
Bonus Points For:
· Experience shipping apps to Google Play or Samsung Apps;
· Considerable programming experience in C++;
· Fluency in Spanish;
· Experience developing for Mobile using JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5;
· Experience working with agile development, e.g. Scrum.
