Followed all the instructions but wasn't able to connect to the server. Please help!

Could it be that Telekinesis iPhone Remote is not compatible with Mac OS 10.8?

It is possible. I have never ran it with 10.8, I am still on 10.7. Does the application just crash when you start it?

It is possible that we don't do the right thing since by default 10.8 doesn't have apache enabled (unless I am mistaken)

This is my guess.
