Ufone: New SIM card Registration Problem

Dear All,

I have collected the new Ufone sim from Blue Area franchise of my lost
number (03339113330) at Saturday 2th Jan 2010, they asked me to
activate it after 02 hours. Doing so i received the "SIM card
Registration Failed" error message. I contacted the Chandani Chouk
Franchise same day and they claimed that due to "System Replication
Problem" you are facing the issue and the matter will be resolved at
earliest and your SIM card will be activated.

Up till now i am still receiving the same message and still waiting to
use my Ufone SIM.

Can any one suggest me that the Problem is resolved at UFONE or not? I
believe considering the extreme competition among GSM operators and
their critical economic conditions, how the customers can be captured,
making them wait to long for their services to be activated.

As far i know this Problem is only with some Series & your's is one of them, try again  now by restarting your device by removing Battery.

Well in my opinion you should contact PTA.Here's the address : http://www.pta.gov.pk/index.php?option=com_complaint&Itemid=485

Please fill out the complaint form .After one or two days your complaint will be processed & you'll be emailed your complaint number & other details .i think thats the best solution for your problem.

A proverb applies for these telco's : " Laton k bhoot baton se nai mantay"

I faced similar situation when i got my SIM reactivated from Telenor Franchisee in Saddar Rwp and SIM wasn't active for 6 hours until i made i called customer care at 12.00 am to have it moving.

Contact ufone customer care and i think they will take care of it.

Well, At last after 04 long days, my UFONE SIM has finally been
activated at 6.02am today.

I am really grateful to their "utmost" and "nimblest" Customer
Services response.....
