HMDA Boundary Shapefile

I am a Doctoral research scholar working on the Peri-urban expansion of Hyderabad.

I am looking for the shape file for the HMDA boundary.

I would be grateful if anyone could share that or suggest some external portal or webpage for that.

Hey BITSian, 

I tried solving the same problem two years ago but for a different city. Unfortunately there is no such data available by government agencies. Best shot is Google map which gives accurate outlines of an area. 

But as of now Google map has no api to return boundaries coordinates. This will solve your need. Let me know if you are able to solve it. Will be super helpful to me as well.

Hi Ravi,

Just to be clear, are you looking for exact HMDA limits admin boundary or collection of individual districts boundaries which eventually merge them together for your study?

If exact admin boundary, please refer to track GIS Telangana website or might need to georeference HMDA master plan and conver to the raster to vector for admin boundary.

Please let me know if you need additional help.
